Trent. That's his name, Trent. We come for the food, the neighborhood, anything to get off of I-80 but we find Toast! What a find it has been. We've been headed east and west along I-80 for the the past few years and have always enjoyed getting off of I-80 at Fallbrook to come to "Toast", a great pub/restaurant we never would have found if we weren't just a little bit adventurous. But one of the added attractions of this place is they have a staff that's good as gold. Tonight, it was "Trent" a Colorado guy (we're from Colorado) from Sterling, Colorado. Trent was on point tonight and got us our drinks and dinner PDQ! I had the French Dip sandwich and my wife went with her usual chicken on salad. Solid choices. But the brews (Voodoo Ranger IPA and wine (Bonterra Rose - hmmm....) got my wife and I situated for a long winter's night in Lincoln Nebraska! We left with a dessert to go - get the chocolate cake! Once we were situated in our hotel room, it really made an otherwise necessity overnight stop to be quite enjoyable and memorable. Toast! Go there. See Trent. He'll take care of you!

My friends and I loves going to toast because the atmosphere is very comforting. Today must have been an off day for the kitchen because the food wasn't as good as the couple other times we've had it. We also ordered to artichoke dip and chips, a creamy rich dip paired with the stale chips, was the one thing that was consistent to our prior visits! It's one of our favorite items to order! Services were fast like always.

Toast is one of my local favorites. The food is always on point. The atmosphere is always warm. And the customer service is consistently top shelf. When I have friends visiting in that part of town it's always on the top of my rec list.

Stopped by for lunch. 2nd time we have been there. Husband had a shrimp wrap and fries. I had the taco salad. Both were delicious. The taco salad was very unique and not a typical taco salad. Great combination of ingredients! I hope they keep it on their menu, it's very well done. Place was clean and our server was nice.

Before the menu makeover, this place was all about the classics, like their trusty Reuben sandwich. Toast has stepped up its game with exciting additions like the mouthwatering Cuban sandwich and the option to add juicy pork to the nachos. Also, Toast added brunch menu to the mix, bringing some excitement to the table. The new handcrafted cocktails are a bit hit or miss, but the service is always top-notch. The friendly bartenders and waitress ensure you're well taken care of. Toast is perfect for gatherings with both family and friends. The casual atmosphere and attentive service make it a welcoming spot for all ages. It's still a go-to spot for a laid-back meal with friends.

This was my second visit to Toast. Service was friendly, prompt, and accommodating. We started with the parmesan and artichoke dip. This was GOOD. The dip was tasty and the chips with fresh with the perfect amount of salt. I had the Heartland Burger. It was very good, but so large that I had to eat it with a fork and a knife. I love the flavors of the slaw, chili sauce, and corn fritter all mixed. Two members of our party ordered steaks. Both said it was a little chewy. My boyfriend ordered the beef stroganoff. He said it could have used more sauce and the steak was chewy on his dish, as well. Definitely some highs and lows, but I think this is a good spot if you order the right dish.

Consistently good food, especially for lunch. I always get the cranberry almond salad now and it's excellent! The sandwiches are solid and lunch portions are fair sized, I usually have a bit leftover. I've had mostly good service with one glaring exception. Brought my family and a colleague for Sunday lunch after church. The host was extremely short and rude but that's an outlier from my other experiences. It's usually busy, between conversations and TV's. I recommend sitting outside if you want to have a peaceful meal.
